SUPERHOG partners with HiBnb

UK / Canada: Global digital trust platform SUPERHOG has announced a partnership with Toronto-based  startup HiBnb, a hospitality marketplace dedicated to helping travellers find cannabis-friendly accommodations and activities, to help increase inclusivity in the short-term rental sector.

SUPERHOG’s mission is to solve the trust and protection gap for millions of global short-term rental hosts, operators and guests, by providing a tech-based AI-supported toolkit that increases booking confidence and provides unmatched protection in the short-term rental industry.

By providing comprehensive protection and its digital toolkit which includes screening technology, SUPERHOG says it is able to help HiBnb with its main goal: to de-stigmatise and normalise cannabis culture, by bringing cannabis enthusiasts together to share what they love within safe, responsible and legal parameters.

With both companies keen to make sure that the sector is a trusted and welcome space for all, SUPERHOG co-founder and COO, said: “Home-sharing is about inclusiveness, community and experience, with HiBnb being a prime example of this. SUPERHOG is always keen to work with businesses whose aim is to bring communities together and in particular keep those communities safe.

“SUPERHOG’s partnership with HiBnb emphasises the common goal that both companies share in making the vacation rental a safe and trusted environment,” he added.

HiBnb founder Elizabeth Becker, who recently won the 2021 Shortyz Innovator / Disruptor award, echoed those sentiments: “By partnering with SUPERHOG, we are able to offer HiBnb Hosts peace of mind that their properties and possessions are guaranteed safe. There is no need to collect a security deposit.

“For us, this is a real game changer – it will help potential hosts who aren’t familiar with the cannabis community be more comfortable, giving them the opportunity to host wonderful people of all ages looking for a little slice of home away from home! We now offer an age-gated online site and a gated real world community where cannabis culture is accepted, safe, legal, and celebrated,” she added.
