UK: International Hospitality Media [IHM] has teamed up with Travel Intelligence Network and QIA Services to research whether industry accreditation schemes offer a measurable return on investment across key operating criteria.
The survey explores the importance of accreditation in building buyers’ trust in hotels, serviced apartments and short-term rentals through consistent quality standards that fulfil corporate duty of care needs.
Results from the survey will form the basis of a white paper, available free to all STRz subscribers, which aims to outline the various accommodation accreditation schemes available. It will include what is accredited, how, and by whom, along with examples of what good / not-so-good looks like.
Set to be published in Q4 2022, the paper will offer accommodation providers a better understanding of the value of accreditation in fulfilling the prescribed levels of customer service, duty of care and ESG standards.
