Sykes Holiday Cottages partners with Landal

UK: Sykes Holiday Cottages has partnered with holiday park operator Landal to expand its UK holiday park portfolio, adding more than 1,200 properties across 23 parks to its booking platform.

Under the agreement, accommodation at Landal parks in England, Wales and Scotland will be available to book through the Sykes website from this month. Locations include Clowance in Cornwall, Twin Lakes in the Lake District and Dylan Coastal Resort in North Wales.

The partnership adds a range of park-based accommodation to Sykes’ existing portfolio, from rustic lodges to higher-end units, with on-site facilities such as pools, restaurants, play areas and wellness amenities.

Landal operates more than 260 holiday parks across Europe and has grown its UK presence since launching in the market in 2017. The brand currently operates 23 UK parks, with further expansion planned.

Sykes said holiday parks represent a growing segment of domestic leisure travel and form part of its wider strategy to diversify accommodation types available to guests. The deal also supports Landal’s efforts to increase distribution and reach new customer segments through established booking platforms.

The partnership follows continued investment by Sykes’ parent company, Forge Holiday Group, which has committed more than £150 million to technology, portfolio growth and customer services across the UK.
