United States: Douglas County in Nevada has launched a 24/7 telephone hotline and online reporting platform for neighbours to report issues with their vacation rentals.
The new initiative is taking place in cooperation with Host Compliance LLC and will provide people with the opportunity to report violations and resolve disputes relating to vacation rentals in Douglas County.
The 24/7 hotline has been established by the board of county commissioners. It will work by enabling neighbours to reach an operator who will assess the situation and simultaneously address the problems that hosts and guests might be facing with their rentals.
