Ullswater Heights holiday lets to open in Cumbria
UK: A luxury leisure resort worth £20m, Ullswater Heights, is set to open next week in the village of Newbiggin in Cumbria.
The site will become the fourth resort in Leisure Resorts’ portfolio, which was founded in 2017 by entrepreneur Gary Molloy. The management company already operates resorts in sites across Cumbria, North Yorkshire and the Yorkshire Dales in England.
Situated in an estate spanning 70 acres, Ullswater Heights will hold up to 150 lodges and glamping tents, which will operate either as holiday lets or as bought properties. The resort also features a Lakehouse bar and restaurant, farm and playground.
Molloy told the Caterer: “Leisure Resorts has been operating for just over two years and Ullswater Heights represents the pinnacle of our achievements to-date. We’re taking our offering to a new level, aiming to open as the best holiday park in the UK and never stop improving what we offer.”
Meanwhile, Leisure Resorts has also partnered with Hoseasons as its booking platform.
