US: Virdee, an SaaS company serving the lodging, multifamily and commercial real estate industries, has announced that it has entered into the Certified Partner programme by ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions, a global leader in access solutions, to deliver a robust contactless check-in and mobile access solution to joint hospitality customers and third-party integrators.
Virdee’s secure, contactless check-in flow seeks to allow ID-verified users to obtain keys for building access either at an in-lobby check-in station and / or digitally through its mobile app.
- Expanding Virdee’s electronic hotel locks portfolio: By equipping properties with Visionline’s access management technology, ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions provides properties with the ability to manage both offline or online-based locks. The integration of the manufacturer’s access solutions into Virdee’s virtual reception platform provides customers, and their guests, the efficiency of a self-service check-in experience.
- Providing secure, mobile key accessibility: The transition to contactless, self-service and user-friendly access is becoming a “must have” across real estate verticals, especially in hotels. By partnering with industry leaders such as ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions, Virdee aims to provide its customers with the latest in contactless experiences.
- Industry-leading data encryption: Mobile Access by ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions utilises the latest in data encryption protocols to prevent unauthorised access. This includes the use of secure communication channels to deliver digital keys and room number information to guest devices, which is stored within a digital strongbox on a guest-facing mobile app.
