US: Vacation rental platform Whimstay has launched a travel agent programme, allowing advisors to earn commission on bookings made through its platform.
The company said the programme provides access to a dedicated booking portal where agents can search properties, manage reservations and track commissions.
Agents can either complete bookings on behalf of clients or share trackable property links, with bookings attributed to them in both cases.
Whimstay said its inventory includes professionally managed properties across North America, Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe.
Ben Jamshahi said the programme aims to provide a pathway for travel advisors to earn commission on vacation rental bookings.
The company said the move is intended to expand distribution channels for property managers while enabling travel agents to participate more directly in the vacation rental market.
