Under Canvas launches Outdoor Collection brand

US: Upscale outdoor hospitality company Under Canvas has launched a new portfolio of nature-connected stays under the brand Outdoor Collection by Under Canvas. The new collection features uniquely local properties designed to offer premium guest experiences rooted in place and purpose.

The first two locations in the collection are The Fields of Michigan and Bar N Ranch in West Yellowstone, Montana. Both sites reflect Under Canvas’ signature approach to outdoor hospitality, offering a mix of safari-style tents, contemporary cottages, lodge rooms and cabins.

The launch follows the company’s acquisition of The Fields of Michigan, a 30-acre working blueberry farm located near South Haven. The property offers 23 upscale accommodations including field tents and modern cottages, each with ensuite bathrooms, electricity, contemporary furnishings and private firepits.

Onsite amenities include a pool, spa services, and a communal dining space called The Willow, which hosts small plates, drinks, and a weekend Supper Club. The Fields is set to open for its 2025 season from 1 May to 2 November.

The second property, Bar N Ranch, is a 200-acre retreat six miles from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Set in a traditional western lodge environment, it features lodge rooms with fireplaces and individual log cabins with up to four bedrooms.

Summer activities include fly-fishing, whitewater rafting and guided tours of nearby national parks. Bar N Ranch will reopen for the season on 8 May 2025, with stays available through 6 October 2025.
