Spain: Lodgify, a vacation rental management platform for independent hosts and property managers, has named Shaun Shirazian as its new CEO to accelerate its next phase of growth and innovation.
He succeeds co-founder and former CEO, Dennis Klett, who will transition to a non-executive board member role and continue supporting Lodgify’s long-term strategy.
The company’s board is further strengthened with the appointment of Joaquim Lechá, former CEO of Typeform, as chairman.
Shirazian brings extensive leadership experience in the SaaS and technology sectors. Most recently, he served as chief product officer at Pipedrive, following senior leadership roles at Intuit, and Procter & Gamble.
As CEO, Shirazian will focus on expanding Lodgify’s market presence, strengthening its product offerings, and ensuring that even more hosts across the globe can maximise their success with the PMS.
He said: “Lodgify has made it possible for small- and mid-sized vacation rental hosts to access powerful tools that were once only available to large property management companies. As the short-term rental industry evolves with changing traveller preferences, new regulations, and the advancement of AI, it’s more important than ever for these hosts to have the right tools at their fingertips.
“I’m honoured to join such a talented team to build on Lodgify’s success and continue delivering the best PMS platform for hosts worldwide,” he added.
Lodgify has grown to be used by hosts in more than 100 countries. Since founding Lodgify in 2012, Klett led the company to empower hosts to streamline daily operations, maximise bookings, and enhance guest experiences, and as a non-executive board member, he will continue contributing to its growth.
Klett said: “Hosts who operate one or a few properties are the backbone of the vacation rental industry, and many still struggle with fragmented tools and complex operations. We started Lodgify with the core goal — to empower these independent hosts to easily manage and grow their businesses.
“Shaun’s customer-first mindset and deep expertise in product innovation make him the ideal leader to drive Lodgify’s next growth chapter, reinforcing our leading position,” he added.
Joaquim Lechá, who joins Lodgify as chairman of the board, has a track record of scaling SaaS companies and leading high-growth businesses, and most recently was CEO of Typeform. His expertise and strategic insights will further support Lodgify’s continued expansion and product evolution, according to a press release.
Lechá said: “Lodgify has already made a major impact in the vacation rental space by delivering best-in-class solutions that meet the needs of vacation rental hosts, but there’s still so much more ahead. I’m excited to join as chairman of the board and support Shaun and the team as they continue driving innovation and democratising tools for hosts to grow and succeed.”
