Worldwide: The 20 shortlists for the sixth annual Shortyz Awards have been officially unveiled, ahead of the glittering in-person awards ceremony on Tuesday 1 April.
This year’s shortlists, including the new Best interior design and Guest Experience awards, comprise 132 names of companies and individuals across 20 countries. The entries were judged against strict criteria by an expert panel of judges, made up of industry consultants, PR experts, property managers, rentalpreneurs and leaders from across the travel and hospitality spectrum.
The entries that best fulfilled the outlined criteria according to our judges have now progressed to the Shortyz shortlists and are in contention to secure an accolade at the awards ceremony itself.
A voting period will commence on Wednesday 12 March [3pm GMT] and last until Sunday 16 March [9pm GMT]. The voting will take place at our dedicated awards platform where applicants went to submit their entries – at this link. 19 of the 20 categories will be decided by a 50:50 split between judge scores and the public vote, while the Guest Experience award will be determined solely by judge scores.
For 2025, the Shortyz Awards will include a three-course dinner for the first time, as well as a range of magical entertainment and a few surprises too. Taking place this year at the Westin London City Hotel, the Shortyz recognise excellence, highlight innovation and industry best practice, reward achievement, and celebrate startup technology
