Finland: Vacation rental software provider Hostaway has launched an artificial intelligence assistant designed to help property managers analyse business performance, identify growth opportunities and automate operational tasks.
Known as AI CoHost, the tool allows users to ask questions about portfolio performance in natural language, providing insights into metrics including revenue, occupancy, operating costs and guest activity.
The platform also analyses guest reviews and operational data to identify trends, flag potential issues such as calendar conflicts and maintenance concerns, and recommend actions to improve property performance.
According to Hostaway, the system can suggest pricing adjustments to fill occupancy gaps, generate listing updates and draft communications, while enabling users to implement changes through the platform.
The launch builds on Hostaway’s existing AI features, including automated guest messaging, revenue management tools and task automation.
Marcus Räder, chief executive and co-founder of Hostaway, said: “Property managers need tools that understand both their individual business and the wider short-term rental sector. AI CoHost is designed to help operators focus on higher-value work while automating day-to-day processes.”
