Belize: Casago has expanded its international franchise network into Belize with the launch of a locally owned operation following the acquisition of Vacasa Belize Ltd.
The business, operating as Casago Belize, will be led by former Vacasa executives Sheldon Arnold as president and CEO, and Rolando Guzman as chief commercial officer. Both previously held senior leadership positions at Vacasa in Belize and will oversee vacation rental operations, homeowner services and commercial strategy across the country.
The company said the transition places decision-making closer to homeowners, guests and local communities as part of its franchise-led operating model. Casago Belize will manage a portfolio of properties across the country, including coastal, island and inland destinations.
To mark the launch, Casago is hosting an event in Belize with homeowners, tourism stakeholders and local partners. Casago founder and CEO Steve Schwab is expected to attend.

The Belize launch forms part of Casago’s wider strategy to transition former Vacasa markets to locally owned franchise operators following its acquisition of Vacasa in 2025. The company said franchise partners benefit from centralised technology, systems and operational support while maintaining local ownership and market expertise.
