UK: Urban Living Festival (ULF) has unveiled a transformative new format for its 2027 edition, removing the cost barrier for pre-approved property managers, owners, operators, investors and developers to attend, and opening its doors to the entire hospitality and living ecosystem.
Taking place on 16th February 2027, at Novotel London West, the reimagined Urban Living Festival promises to be hospitality and real estate’s most accessible and collaborative event. Bringing together more than 175 thought-leading speakers and 1,500+ attendees from across hotels, serviced apartments, build-to-rent, coliving, student accommodation, short-term rentals, later living, branded residences and flex workspace.
By introducing the no-cost price point, ULF aims to democratise access to cutting edge industry knowledge, networking and innovation, ensuring that every professional with an interest in the future of urban living can participate. Service providers have the opportunity to sponsor, exhibit, or attend for a nominal fee.
• A festival designed for a new era
ULF was launched in 2021. Its new format reflects the rapid convergence of hospitality and operational real estate, encouraging meaningful conversations, unexpected collaborations and practical business opportunities.
Rather than a traditional conference, ULF 2027 will deliver an immersive festival experience featuring:
- Multiple content streams with debates, interviews and interactive discussions
- Curated networking experiences
- Innovation showcases and technology demonstrations
- Interactive roundtables
- Investment and development insights
- The hospitality, living, real estate and technology communities brought together under one roof
The result is a more dynamic, collaborative and inclusive environment where ideas are exchanged freely across sectors.
• Opening the industry to everyone
From emerging entrepreneurs and independent landlords to institutional investors and global operating brands, attendees will have unrestricted access to thought leadership, networking opportunities and the latest innovations shaping the future of operations and living.
The move reflects a commitment to supporting industry growth at a time when collaboration, innovation and knowledge sharing have never been more important.
• A bigger opportunity for partners
The new attendance model also creates significantly greater value for sponsors and exhibitors. By removing registration fees, ULF will substantially increase visitor numbers, providing partners with access to a larger, more engaged and more diverse audience of qualified decision-makers.
Sponsors and exhibitors will benefit from:
- Increased footfall and brand visibility
- More qualified business conversations
- Greater lead generation opportunities
- Enhanced thought leadership platforms
- Direct engagement with investors, landlords , developers and operators
- Year-round marketing exposure through the Urban Living News media platforms, and its sister publications: Boutique Hotel News, Serviced Apartment News, and Short Term Rentalz.
Flexible living brand City Pop has been announced as headline sponsor for 2027 and 2028 events.
Pawel Gawor, CEO of City Pop, said: “Our relationship with the Urban Living Festival has grown every year, and headline sponsorship is where that naturally leads. Our growth depends on finding the right buildings, the right partners to back them and the right clients to move in. The festival brings all three together, and we intend to keep showing up for this community.”
As the boundaries between hospitality and living continue to blur, ULF offers partners a unique opportunity to position themselves at the centre of one of the world’s fastest-evolving industries.
• A platform for the future
Piers Brown, CEO of International Hospitality Media, the company behind ULF, said: “Urban Living Festival has always been about bringing together the people shaping the future of hospitality and living. I know how challenging market conditions are, so by making attendance no cost, with quality thought-leading content driven by IHM’s editorial team, we’re removing barriers and creating a truly open platform where ideas, innovation and collaboration can thrive. Our ambition is simple: to build the industry’s most inclusive gathering and create even greater value for everyone who attends, exhibits and sponsors.”
