Manchanda appointed as CuddlyNest CGO

US: Short-term rental marketplace CuddlyNest has announced the appointment of Nitin Manchanda as its new chief growth officer [CGO].

Manchanda joins CuddlyNest as the former global head of SEO at Omio and Trivago, and the popularly known “influential guru” of the SEO community. Prior to those positions, he worked in commerce, helping Indian retail company Flipkart grow its SEO traffic by a record 350 per cent.

As a one-stop travel booking platform, the Orlando-based startup provides listings across a diverse range of accommodation types, including hotels, hostels, vacation homes, penthouses, and even RVs, heralding its slogan “Travel is for Everyone”.

The appointment comes after the company announced it had raised over US$6 million in new funding from private investors in October 2020. The funding was to be partially used to expand the startup’s global workforce in 2021 and to further strengthen the agility of its team, which will be continuously evaluating scaling priorities based on fast-paced market developments paired with exhaustive market research into shifting traveller patterns.

CuddlyNest co-founder and COO, Ritesh Raj, said: “I’m looking forward to building CuddlyNest with Nitin as our new CGO. What really brings us together is our mutual passion for serving, supporting, and truly connecting with travellers. Nitin’s impressive experience in scaling startups and his genuine commitment towards consumers will undoubtedly drive us forward in our next phase of growth.”

In the role of chief growth officer, Manchanda will focus on a growth strategy for CuddlyNest that is rooted in scalability, strategic automation, and strategic partnerships. He will also be responsible for implementing marketing operations and driving awareness for the brand’s value in the travel market.

Manchanda said: “I’m thrilled to join in redefining the way people look and plan their travel. This opportunity is at the perfect intersection of my passion for travel, startups, and growth.”
