Getaway Retreats unveiled to offer curated group experiences
USA: Health and wellness hospitality company, Getaway, has unveiled Getaway Retreats at Getaway Outposts across the United States, helping guests escape to nature.
Opening in partnership with the Mint Collective, Getaway Retreats will offer curated group experiences at Getaway Outposts nationwide, with customisable and personalised itineraries, full-service experiences, and interactive workshops.
It is the first time that Getaway is opening up its locations to groups of all sizes and offering personalised itineraries and group activities, at a time when group travel is on the rise and companies are seeking new ways to connect with employees and partners in unique ways. The platform will be open for both large groups and corporate partners.
Carlos Becil, chief experience officer at Getaway, said: “Getaway is dedicated to providing free time in nature to all, and we’re thrilled to extend this offering to large groups looking to build community and connection in the great outdoors for the first time ever. Getaway Retreats provide highly customisable group experiences designed to reinvigorate guests’ imaginations and spark creativity during their stay.”
The plan is to offer personalised experiences for unique needs and budgets. Mint Collective, an events company, will facilitate experiences for Getaway Retreats, including event logistics, design and decor, branded activations, wellness experiences, local adventures and culinary experiences.
Jayme Sanders, owner and founder of Mint Collective, said: “At Mint Collective we believe that magic happens when we are able to get out from behind our screens and into nature. We are thrilled to bring authentic connections through meaningful experiences in the outdoors to Getaway guests with the new Getaway Retreats.”
In 2022, the company experienced an average 80 per cent occupancy across all Outposts, including 22 per cent of guests booking more than one stay in the year. Getaway focuses on offering services close to nature and recently expanded its operations to offer stays at 30 Outposts nationwide.
