Goat yoga company launches Goatel Vacation Rentals

US: The Original Goat Yoga company has launched its newest business venture, The Goatel Vacation Rentals.

The Original Goat Yoga company was founded in 2016 by Lainey Morse, and since then, Morse has licensed her brand to 20 farms across the United States. The brand also licenses its Original Goat Yoga, Goat Happy Hour Therapy Farms and now, The Goatel, as well.

The idea for the Goatel was forged during lockdown, when Morse tried to think of fun but safe ways to get out of the house.

Morse said: “I picture couples that are both working remotely in a small home or apartment and just need peace to focus. Artists that just need space to be able to think creatively without also listening to their partners’ Zoom conferences.

“Parents who are wondering how they could possibly make online school fun and interesting for their child. Couples that are trying to find unique date ideas! Thus…The Goatel was born.

“Since my life is now goat themed, I felt The Goatel was fitting, and the name is fun and unique,” she added.

Goatels, which are decorated in goat-theme, can be rented by the hour, day, or week. Each Goatel includes wifi, a pot of coffee, and a chance to interact with animals.

Morse explained that Goatel rentals are ideal for people looking for an animal-themed vacation. The rentals are designed for those who love nature, animals, and adventures.

Each night stay also includes Goat Happy Hour Therapy, which can be upgraded to goat yoga at some locations.

Currently, The Goatel has ten locations across the United States in Texas, Oregon, and California. One location, the Goatel on the Chocolate Bayou, started by Alvin Texas Original Goat Yoga, includes a loft apartment above the goat barn that sleeps four people and a waterfront yurt that sleeps six people.

SF Bay, CA Original Goat Yoga launched a Goatel location called The Goatel Perched Atop Mt. Madonna. This location includes a yurt that sleeps five and an RV that sleeps three, both with views of the Pacific Oceans and the Redwood Forests.

The brand has plans to further expand The Goatel with new locations in the next year.
