US: Homes & Villas by Marriott International has announced its expansion into the city of New Orleans through its partnership with luxury vacation home rental platform Hosteeva.
From now on, travellers, including members of Marriott’s Bonvoy loyalty programme, will have access to over 200 Hosteeva luxury vacation properties in New Orleans, in addition to the 300 Hosteeva properties already available in ten other leisure destinations through Marriott’s home rental initiative, which launched last year.
Hosteeva’s fully-furnished premium and luxury one- to five-bedroom properties can accommodate up to 12 guests and feature the comforts of home with the amenities of a five-star hotel. These include loft apartments and penthouse condos located in the city’s bustling Warehouse District and French Quarter neighbourhoods, as well as an historic home on Tchoupitoulas Street.
With vacation rentals surging in popularity this year, many see such accommodation as a safer way to travel and more conducive for effective social distancing. With elevated cleaning standards and safety features such as contact-free entry, digital check-in/smart locks, along with fully-equipped kitchens, spacious living rooms and bedrooms, in-home laundry and 24/7 customer support via a mobile app, Homes & Villas believes its properties represent a safe and secure accommodation option for travellers.
Homes & Villas selected Hosteeva as a trusted property management partner earlier this year in June. At the time, select properties from Hosteeva’s portfolio of premium and luxury private homes in ten popular vacation destinations throughout the United States were made available on Marriott International’s new global home rental offering.
