The partnership has been launched to transform the short-term rental marketplace by powering an automated payment platform for property managers operating in the space.
Jetstream’s customer partners will now have access to Stripe’s financial infrastructure, enabling them to automate payments which will allow them to run their business more efficiently. Stripe supports payments across more than 135 global currencies.
Jetstream CEO Emmanuel Lavoie said: “Tech is powering the continued success of the short-term rental industry – from smart home tech to deliver guest delight, through to property automation to drive business efficiencies. But it doesn’t stop there.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Stripe to bring further innovation to the short-term rental market by offering a payment platform for property managers to accept payments and completely manage their property business online. Powered by Stripe, our customers will be able to accept payments from credit and debit cards, and have direct control of processing those payments – and all without incurring huge fees. This is groundbreaking,” he added.
Jetstream, which has a global presence with offices in the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia and the UK, seeks to enable owners, managers and developers of multi-unit rental properties to maximise revenues and realise opportunities in the growing short-term and flexible rental market.
The partnership also strengthens Jetstream’s full-service offering, which includes content curation, channel marketing and distribution, listing optimisation, revenue management, and 24/7 communication – delivered by a global multilingual team of guest-facing agents.
