Founded in 2020, DemandIQ is a website analytics plugin that allows property managers to access real-time travel search data, such as length of stay and arrival and departure dates, which is layered with real-time booking data to inform revenue managers how they can drive their businesses forward.
The startup’s demand data and existing data set will be combined with that of Key Data to provide more powerful and informed insights for lodging providers into opportunities such as revenue management, pricing, conversion rates and business development. As a result, these providers will be able to increasingly make data-driven choices based on guest behaviour pre-booking, as well as fulfil the needs of their prospective guests.
Key Data Dashboard CEO Jason Sprenkle told VRM Intel: “Over the coming weeks, we’ll be fine-tuning the platform and enhancing the integration between these two data sets.

DemandIQ co-founder Amber Carpenter told the same publication: “Selling to Key Data is an exciting and natural next step in the journey to bring demand data and booking data together to create the industry’s first full view of unconstrained demand, market share, and conversion data. Being part of Key Data will expedite execution on the roadmap and help scale the operation faster than we could have done on our own.”
Carpenter is now set to join forces with Key Data as a product consultant to oversee the integration and launch of the newly-combined platform.
