limehome strengthens management team with two new VPs
Germany: Munich-based hospitality technology provider and apartment operator, limehome, is positioning itself for further strategic expansion by appointing Daniel Hermann as vice president expansion and Daniel Garner as vice president brand & product.
The appointment announcements follow the company’s €45 million growth capital round earlier this month. Existing investors HV Capital, Picus Capital and Lakestar were joined by new investors AW Rostamani Group and Capital Four in backing the Munich-based startup, which will use the capital to fund further expansion and acquisitions of other operators.
Hermann will be tasked with growing limehome’s portfolio in existing and new markets in cooperation with local players and investors. Having accumulated more than 15 years of experience in investment banking and the proptech sector, the Brazilian native was previously responsible for expansion at international hospitality brands Casai and Selina.
Meanwhile, Garner will be responsible for product experience and marketing at limehome to create a holistically conceived product design area to meet the needs of guests, B2B partners and internal stakeholders alike. The British scientist will bring more than 15 years of development knowledge in experience focused, interdisciplinary technological product development to the company.
Dr. Josef Vollmayr, co-founder and CEO of limehome, said: “I am delighted that with Daniel Hermann and Daniel Garner we have been able to attract two internationally recognised experts to limehome. With Daniel Hermann’s impressive track record in expanding technology-based hospitality companies and Daniel Garner’s experience in customer-centric development of innovative products, we are well positioned to make limehome’s guest experience accessible to everyone.”
Daniel Hermann, VP expansion at limehome, said: “I am very happy to ignite the next stage of digitalisation of the hospitality industry with limehome. Our goal is to demonstrate the great potential of our digital and technology-driven approach to real estate investors in order to forge so many new partnerships in Europe and worldwide.
“A lot will happen in the market in 2023. Now it’s about remaining an early mover,” he added.
Daniel Garner, VP brand & product at limehome, said: “User needs in the hospitality industry are changing rapidly. Flexibility and a seamless customer experience are becoming increasingly important. At the same time, it is important to offer a varied guest experience – especially for longer stays.
“Product experience, marketing and brand must be as closely intertwined as possible. I am very much looking forward to these exciting challenges at limehome,” he added.
limehome currently employs more than 160 staff members and operates over 3,000 apartments in 100+ locations across Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Portugal and Hungary.
