US: Northgate Resorts has opened a new Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia, following the redevelopment of the former Williamsburg Campground.
The 80-acre resort becomes the fourth Jellystone Park location in Virginia, joining existing parks in Chincoteague Island, Luray and Natural Bridge.
Northgate acquired the former campground and has invested in upgrading the property with new family-focused attractions, including laser tag, themed entertainment, renovated accommodation and enhanced recreational facilities.
The resort offers a range of accommodation options, including cabins, RV sites and tent pitches. Previously closed sections of the campground have also been renovated and reopened as part of the redevelopment.
New amenities include two swimming pools, a splash pad, jumping pillows and an expanded programme of Yogi Bear-themed activities, alongside existing facilities such as playgrounds, sports courts and nature trails.
Located close to Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and Jamestown, the resort targets family leisure travellers visiting the region.
