US: Streamside RV Resorts & Campgrounds has acquired Sandy Pines Campground in Kennebunkport, Maine, taking its US portfolio to 40 locations.
The 46-acre property was acquired through a court-approved sale for a reported $14.25 million.
Sandy Pines has 224 sites, including 83 RV sites, 46 tent pitches, 66 glamping units and 29 seasonal park models. Its glamping accommodation includes safari tents, A-frame huts and glass houses.
Atlantic Hospitality will continue to manage the resort until the end of the 2026 season. All existing reservations will be honoured.
Streamside said it would consider investing in the property’s infrastructure while retaining its local identity and existing team.
Jen Milam, chief growth officer at Streamside, said: “Sandy Pines is a beautifully done resort in a fantastic location and has become one of the premier camping resorts in Maine.”
Streamside now owns and manages more than 4,400 RV and accommodation sites across 17 US states.
