US: Maryland-based vacation rental and sales firm, Taylor-Made Deep Creek Vacations & Sales, has named Jodi Taylor Refosco as its president of the Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA).
VRMA is an organisation of vacation rental professionals and suppliers in the United States, which provides members with education and networking opportunities to enhance their businesses.
Refosco, one of Taylor-Made’s owners, was officially named president of the VRMA at the organisation’s 2018 international conference in Las Vegas.
The incoming president will bring a wealth of expertise to the position as she has been involved with VRMA for more than two decades in a number of leadership roles such as serving as secretary and vice president of the board. In addition, Refosco has been part of the conference planning and education committees.
Refosco founded her Deep Creek Lake vacation rental firm, Taylor-Made Deep Creek Vacations & Sales, in 2008, along with her husband, Joe, and her brother, Chad Taylor. The family currently manages more than 400 vacation rental homes as well as 150 non-renting homes.
Since its foundation a decade ago, the company has sought to provide exceptional service to customers and a growing real estate division also caters to buyers and sellers in the Deep Creek Lake area of Maryland.
Refosco said: “I am honoured to serve as president of this incredible organisation that has been instrumental in the growth of our industry. I have great respect for those who have held this seat before me and look forward to upholding their legacy.”
Taylor-Made employees regularly attend regional and national VRMA conferences across the United States in order to network with their peers, therefore ensuring they stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the industry.
In doing so, the company and its staff believe they are better placed to assist travellers and home owners while keeping on top of the latest trends, products and processes.
