THIRDHOME and Storylines announce home exchange partnership

US: Luxury vacation home exchange club THIRDHOME has announced a corporate partnership with global residential cruise ship community Storylines.

The two luxury travel lifestyle companies have come together to offer what they claim to be “the most comprehensive selection of world class properties on land and at sea”.

As a result, THIRDHOME members who own luxury second homes will now have access to exclusive private residences aboard Storylines’ ship MV Narrative. The travel club’s collection of 13,500 second homes in 99 countries will include luxurious residences at sea for members interested in yachting and maritime voyages.

Likewise, select premier Storylines residences will include membership in THIRDHOME’S exchange program. Owners of the exclusive homes at sea will be able to stay in private residences all over the globe including private islands and private yachts.

Stu Grimson, VP of business development at THIRDHOME, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be partnering with Storylines – this is a really unique company. We’re excited for the boat to hit the water, and we’re really excited about this relationship.”

Lorena Aloe, special programs director at Storylines, said: “We’re happy to welcome ThirdHome’s members onboard our private residence ship, and we appreciate their club members for inviting our owners into their beautiful vacation homes.”

Storylines claims to be creating an all-inclusive ocean residence aboard a sustainable LNG powered ship that features a waterfront marina, microbrewery, art studio, hydroponic garden and spa. The cruise ships stay for an average of three to five days in each port on their trips and residents have the option to take part in curated itineraries of experiences and excursions.
