Vrbo marks 25-year milestone with rental giveaway
US: Expedia Group vacation rental brand Vrbo is marking its 25th anniversary by giving away 25 stays at some of its most unique, highly-rated vacation rental homes, including houses, cabins, condos, ranches, treehouses and castles.
Lish Kennedy, Vrbo VP of global brand marketing, said in a statement: “We wanted to recognise and show gratitude to our customers who have trusted Vrbo with their family vacations over the past 25 years. To celebrate this milestone, we are inviting families to look back through their old family photos to reminisce on their most precious memories together.
“We’re giving away 25 stays in some truly over-the-top Vrbos to our favourite entrants — so share any throwback vacation photo that warms your heart, makes you laugh, smile, or even shed a happy tear,” Kennedy added.
Vrbo is now inviting applications from interested participants to enter for an opportunity to win a stay at one of its homes. They are asked to share a family vacation photo using the hashtag #VrboTurns25, when the company will then select the winners who will be able to choose their favourite vacation home to stay in from the selection.
The 25th Anniversary Photo Contest is open to legal residents over the age of 18 in the United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and Canada who submit an eligible photo via the required entry method. The deadline for submitting entries is Sunday 18 October at 11.59pm CT.
