US: Airbnb has announced that Lisa Marçais has joined the company as the general manager for Northern Europe and MEA.
Prior to the role, Marçais led eBay’s private seller business for the UK and served as country manager for Southern Europe at ASOS.
The move aligns with Airbnb’s plans to strengthen its presence in the Middle East. The company said that Marçais will oversee expansion plans across the region including new hires as the market shows signs of growth.
Lisa Marçais said: “I’ve always been a champion of Airbnb, seeing how the platform has really changed the way that we all travel, making it more accessible for travellers while strengthening local economies and communities.”
