Australia: Property management software provider Homhero has appointed former Shopify senior development manager Dominik Wilkowski as chief technology officer as the company looks to strengthen its product development and enterprise offering.
Wilkowski joins the Australia and New Zealand-focused property management system and channel manager after previously overseeing more than 200 developers across four continents at Shopify.
Before joining Shopify, he served as CTO at digital consultancy The Working Party, where he worked with enterprise clients including JB Hi-Fi and The Good Guys.
Homhero said the appointment forms part of its wider investment in product innovation and customer-focused development for professional holiday home managers.
Interim CEO Craig McIntosh said Wilkowski’s experience leading large-scale engineering teams would help support Homhero’s next stage of growth.
“His experience leading high-performing teams at a global scale puts Homhero on par with global PMS competitors,” McIntosh said.
Wilkowski said his focus would be on solving operational challenges within the short-term rental sector through product-led technology development.
