US: Airbnb has partnered with Welcome Pickups to introduce private car transfers as part of its expanding Services offering.
The feature allows guests to pre-book transport between their accommodation and arrival or departure points directly within the Airbnb app. The service is now available in more than 125 cities across Asia, Europe and Latin America, following an earlier trial.
The move builds on Airbnb’s Services product, launched in May 2025, which added bookable experiences such as private chefs, fitness sessions and spa treatments alongside accommodation.
Dave Stephenson, chief business officer at Airbnb, said the partnership is designed to improve the guest journey from arrival.
Guests will be shown the option to book transfers after confirming their stay.
Alex Trimis, CEO of Welcome Pickups, said the partnership aims to simplify arrival logistics and provide a more seamless travel experience.
