Airbnb to open first Miami Natiivo condo tower in 2022

US: Airbnb is set to open its first Natiivo condo tower in Downtown Miami, which is scheduled to open in Spring 2022.

The 48-storey tower will hold 604 units, of which 412 will be condos and 192 will be hotel rooms, and all of them can be rented and managed through Airbnb’s home-sharing platform.

Developer Harvey Hernandez of Newgard Development Group told The New York Post: “The way in which people visit and experience Miami is changing, and Natiivo’s partnership with Airbnb emphasises that.”

Newgard is currently working on similar projects to that in Miami in Orlando, Austin and Nashville in the United States.

“We wanted to team up with an iconic hospitality brand to enhance our guest experience,” added Hernandez.

Miami-based architecture firm Arquitectonica has been placed in charge of designing the tower, while over 50 per cent of the units, with starting prices of $300,000, have already been sold ahead of the building’s opening.
