Italy: Siena-based villa rental and tour operator, Emma Villas, has acquired 100 per cent of the share capital of Verona-based villa and apartment rental operator, Domus Rental.
It follows Emma Villas’ acquisition of Marche Holiday Villas in April to expand in central Italy.
The company also went public via an initial public offering [IPO] on the Italian Stock Exchange [Euronext Growth Milan] last October.
Founded in 2013 by Alessandra Marconi, Domus Rental specialises in renting out villas and apartments in Verona and on Lake Garda, and has an office in Affi in the same province. The company offers 72 properties under exclusive management, which will be added to the 600+ villas that Emma Villas already manages in Italy.
Giammarco Bisogno, CEO of Emma Villas, said: “We hope to capitalise on the experience already developed by Domus Rental in recent years, strengthening its managerial and commercial structure where necessary, so as to raise the development potential in this area. The road is still long but the results are already tangible.”
