India: Luxury home developer Isprava is scaling up its operations in the holiday home rental space by launching its โLohono Staysโ company.
As well as renting Isprava-built homes, โLohono Staysโ by Isprava enters into contractual deals with independent owners and developers of ultra-luxury homes across India and South East Asia.
The company recently closed its first round of funding for Lohono Stays, which was led by the Godrej family office and Anand Piramal, and raised INR 15 crores. It is launching with more than 250 homes located in Goa, Alibaug, Lonavala, Khandala and Coonoor in India and Phuket, Bali and Koh Samui in Asia.
โLohono Staysโ by Isprava aims to offer unique, local and curated hospitality experiences to travelling guests by delivering a beautiful home in a desirable location, and managing the entire stay with a full, end-to-end service.
Isprava and Lohono Stays founder and CEO, Nibhrant Shah, told TechPluto: โWe see tremendous scope in India, more so due to a gap in the market. Hundreds of thousands of travellers today are looking for an experiential stay, a holiday escape which is locally curated, close to all the social infrastructure and yet private and exclusive.
โWe have noticed a lot of brands that aim to offer this, are either a hit or miss, are not consistent or are simply not offering the kind of bespoke luxury consumers have come to expect. It is our goal to bridge this gap with Lohono Stays.
โWe have properties in some of the most beautiful and sought after travel destinations that offer homes that feel like your own, but with all the amenities of a luxury holiday,โ added Shah.
The word โLohonoโ derives from the Hawaiian word โLonoโ, which is associated with relaxation, music and peace. Lohono Stays by Isprava aims to offer discerning travellers a new way to experience holidays with a holistic approach that takes care of every detail for its guests.
