The connection hopes to improve the data capacity and reach of property managers on the HomeAway platform.
The partnership between the two firms went live at the end of April and has already seen interest from a wide variety of property managers. STAAH attributes this to operators looking to rebound quickly after lockdown and working across many different platforms in order to reach the widest audience possible.
Tarun Joukani, commercial director from STAAH, told Scoop NZ: “The pursuit of authentic and personal experiences put holiday rentals top-of-mind for modern travellers. For managers of such rentals, this has meant finding an efficient booking and distribution platform to reach these travellers.
“We’re proud to partner with HomeAway that does a fantastic job of filling this need,” added Joukani.
The STAAH platform includes cloud-based channel management, booking engine, website building, online reputation management, and gift voucher management services for those who use it. The most prominent feature of the platform is its instant connection, which creates real time updates to booking calendars and beyond from information added to the platform.
Joukani added: “With daily rates and availability management taken care of, property managers can focus on growing their business. And here, STAAH’s detailed insights come in handy, allowing property managers to make informed decisions around revenue.”
STAAH was founded in 2008, with the goal of providing cloud-centric solutions for the accommodations industry. The platform’s reach has grown significantly since, serving over 10,000 properties in over 90 countries, and making partnerships with global businesses, such as Airbnb.
