Stay Alfred expands into Charlotte with four properties

US: Short-term rental apartment provider Stay Alfred has revealed it is expanding into Charlotte in North Carolina.

The expansion consists of four new properties in the uptown neighbourhood of the city, including Stay Alfred on Music Factory Boulevard, Stay Alfred on Graham Street, Stay Alfred on Morehead and Stay Alfred at SkyHouse Uptown.

Stay Alfred aims to provide rental apartments that fuse the quality and consistency of a hotel with the lifestyle amenities that guests expect when staying in an upscale residential building. The company claims to have hosted more than 800,000 guests across the United States since 2011 and currently operates over 2,500 professionally managed apartments in 33 cities.

Stay Alfred founder and CEO, Jordan Allen, said: “We’ve been wanting to expand into the Charlotte market for a while now and things just took off. The uptown neighbourhood has everything we look for when adding a new city to the roster— great restaurants and attractions close to high-end multifamily properties.

“All four Stay Alfred options offer something unique for guests from an on-site art gallery at Stay Alfred on Music Factory Row to a rooftop pool at Stay Alfred at SkyHouse Uptown.

“We look forward to being a good community partner and giving guests from around the world the opportunity to experience the best of Charlotte,” he added.

The company partners with multifamily developers and property managers to lease either individual blocks of units or entire buildings before operating them as spaces for guests staying for a duration of between one day and a couple of weeks.

All Charlotte apartments will include either one or two bedrooms with dedicated living spaces, kitchen, washer and dryer and free Wi-Fi, as well as a self-guided check-in process.

Furthermore, members of the Stay Alfred community have the chance to enjoy exclusive perks, such as complimentary friends and family stays at their own building and discounts at any company property across the US.

Stay Alfred Charlotte city manager Kacy Molloy said in a press release: “Charlotte is one of the fastest-growing cities in America.

“The city’s vibrant uptown is one of a kind; besides restaurants, shops, and nightlife you are also just a short distance from the NFL Panthers, the NBA Hornets, and our AAA baseball team, the Knights. This city has something for everyone,” she added.
