US: Short-term rental data and analytics provider, AirDNA, has announced the appointment of Rohit Bezewada as its new CEO, effective immediately.
He succeeds Demi Horvat, who will transition out of the company over the coming month.
Bezewada joined AirDNA’s leadership team in the first quarter of this year, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his previous roles at industry giants such as Uber, J.P. Morgan and Trucker Tools. During his tenure at those companies, he played a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiencies and spearheading growth strategies.
He said: “I want to thank Demi for her contributions to AirDNA and our industry over the past two years, and I am honoured to take on the role of CEO at AirDNA. We are committed to providing the highest-quality data and insights, empowering short-term rental hosts and investors to achieve their full potential.
“My focus will be on leveraging our comprehensive analytics and innovative management tools to help our customers make confident investment decisions and optimise their rental performance,” he added.
Under Bezewada’s leadership, AirDNA is poised to enter its next phase of growth, reinforcing its mission to deliver best-in-class data and insights for short-term rental investors and hosts. Bezewada’s appointment comes at a pivotal time as the company plans to expand its offerings and strengthen its market position.
As a leading provider of data and analytics for the short-term rental industry, AirDNA purchased vacation rental management software startup Uplisting in January 2024 as it sought to advance its mission to provide a comprehensive, one-stop solution for those investing in and operating STR properties. Prior to that, it bought location intelligence platform Arrivalist in July 2023.
Horvat joined AirDNA after the company was acquired in a strategic partnership with private equity firm Alpine Investors in March 2022. She then succeeded AirDNA founder Scott Shatford as CEO that October.
