US: Travel technology platform Mount has integrated into specialised content and influencer marketing platform for the outdoor and adventure industry Popfly.
The merger aims to allow Mount’s network consisting of short-term rental hosts, operators and travel creators to Popfly, enabling them to gain access to Popfly’s discovery tools, insights, reporting and infrastructure.
As part of the transition, Mount founders Madison Rifkin and Casey Evans will take key positions with the Popfly team to continue advancing creator-led storytelling for brands, creators and communities.
The integration allows for short-term rental businesses to engage further with the creator economy and builds on Popfly’s mission to expand into travel and local experiences by combining a digital creator infrastructure with a real-world network.
“Mount proved that authentic storytelling drives real demand for travel experiences,” said Rifkin.
“By joining Popfly, we can bring that model to more travel and short-term rental businesses, especially those who want to work with creators but don’t know where to start,” Rifkin added.
