HostUplift adds Sykes distribution for UK and Ireland portfolio

Reading Time: 2 minutes

UK: Short-term rental management company HostUplift has partnered with Sykes Holiday Cottages to provide eligible properties in the UK and Ireland with an additional booking channel.

Under the agreement, participating properties managed by HostUplift will be listed on Sykes Holiday Cottages and its partner websites while remaining available through their existing distribution channels.

HostUplift will manage rates, availability and booking rules through its central system, with updates shared across Sykes and platforms including Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and Expedia. Owners will retain control over the day-to-day operation of their properties.

The company manages more than 250 properties across the UK and Europe for individual hosts and portfolio owners. Its services include listing management, dynamic pricing and automated guest communications.

Adam Maclean, founder of HostUplift, said: “For our existing hosts, this means a new source of bookings through one of the UK’s leading cottage companies, with no extra admin and no change to how they work with us.

“They keep the same control and visibility they’ve always had. The only thing that changes is the reach.”

Sykes Holiday Cottages, which is owned by Forge Holiday Group, offers more than 25,000 properties across the UK and Ireland. Its existing partner programme allows businesses to distribute selected inventory and monitor booking performance.

Harriet Kerr, portfolio director at Sykes Holiday Cottages, said the agreement would allow more properties to benefit from the company’s distribution reach.

The partnership expands HostUplift’s channel-management offering but does not make Sykes the exclusive distributor for participating properties. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
