City Relay opens latest Reception Space in Victoria
UK: London-based property management company City Relay is expanding with the opening of a new Reception Space in Victoria.
The new Reception Space on Warwick Way in SW1 is located a short walk from Victoria Station and offers London visitors the opportunity to sit down for a cup of coffee and a personal meet and greet, key handover, luggage storage and concierge-style service in comfort. It is available for all City Relay guests that are staying at properties in the local area or across London.
The brand new Reception Space will also serve local property owners who would like a personal service when listing their homes for short let.
Research by vacation rental data provider AirDNA shows that there are over 7,700 short-let properties in and around Victoria. Short-term rental demand in the area is high, and the average nightly rate of £182 and 75 per cent occupancy level according to AirDNA supports this.
In City Relay’s recent analysis, SW1 topped the list of postcodes based on short-term rental returns achieved by their hosts this December. With Victoria being the second busiest train station in London, it is an important hub for both visitors and Londoners.
As Airbnb demand continues to grow, City Relay says it is expanding fast and the latest reception location extends its face-to-face customer service experience for short-term rental guests and landlords to Zone One. It adds that its existing Reception Spaces on Goldhawk Road in Shepherd’s Bush and Kenway Road in Earl’s Court have already proved to be a success.
City Relay’s Reception Spaces are integral to the brand delivering a five-star guest experience. This approach, it says, is a key reason why they have achieved the status of most trusted Airbnb management company in London from Trustpilot.
The space itself has been designed by the team at Run For The Hills, an award-winning design agency who specialise in interiors for hospitality clients.
The ample Reception Space, located opposite the popular Marquis of Westminster pub, incorporates a coffee station, guest lounge and secure luggage storage.
In addition, the company has hired more hotel-trained guest service assistants and managers to support the new opening.
City Relay plans to open more Reception Spaces across London in 2020, extending its services further across the capital.
