Netherlands: Curated rental home collection Plum Guide, described as the new trust mark for quality in the industry, and NextPax, a provider of channel management technology for all types of lodging and hotel inventory, have announced their strategic distribution partnership.
Plum Guide is the first partner to be officially certified for the latest REST Distribution API technology that was recently launched by NextPax.
Plum Guide founder Doron Meyassed said: “We are thrilled to be working with NextPax, and to be pioneering state-of-the-art connectivity solutions. This partnership is a further booster to Plum Guide’s ambitions of rapid new market expansion.”
James Villa Holidays, part of the Awaze Group, is the first property manager to distribute its quality supply towards Plum Guide, through the NextPax Distribution API.
Dave Woollcott, commercial director at James Villa Holidays, said: “Going live on Plum Guide allows us to reach a new type of customer. Thanks to the integration with NextPax, the activation was easy and allowed the team to focus on growing.
“We look forward to strengthening our relationship in 2021 and beyond,” he added.
Eric Engel, CEO and founder of NextPax, said: “Welcoming PlumGuide to our network as a distribution channel gives our clients a unique opportunity to showcase high-quality listings. We are seeing early recovery from Covid-19 in the travel industry, therefore it is key for us to continue working closely together with our partners, providing the best connectivity solutions and making sure we are ready when travellers return.”
The NextPax Distribution API is powered by the latest REST Json technology, giving its partners the opportunity to retrieve lightning fast data.
The NextPax technology delivers hundreds of thousands of properties, allowing Plum Guide to pick the information they need. Plum Guide is the first channel partner to be certified using the new technology and dozens of new partners are to be certified in the coming weeks.
