Worldwide: The entry period for the 2025 Shortyz Awards – the sixth edition of the leading awards ceremony for the global short-term / vacation rental industry – has officially opened.
It has also been confirmed that the 2025 Shortyz Awards will be held on Tuesday 1 April 2025 at The Westin City, London as an in-person, black-tie event for the first time. The awards take place the evening before the 2025 Short Stay Summit, which returns to Old Billingsgate nearby on Wednesday 2 April 2025.
It is free to enter the Shortyz Awards for any short-term rental professionals from around the world, including hosts, property managers / operators, booking platforms or OTAs, technology providers, suppliers, PMS providers and more. STR professionals are invited to submit in as many of the 20 categories as they wish and are eligible for.
Established in 2019, the Shortyz set out to:
- Recognise excellence amongst industry peers
- Highlight innovation and industry best practice
- Reward achievement
- Celebrate start-up technology
For the sixth year of the awards, The Shortyz are back with 20 categories including two new additions – Best interior design and a Guest experience award. The descriptions and criteria for each category can be found at both our official Shortyz Awards website here and our entries platform here.
The winners of the Shortyz Awards will each be decided by a 50:50 split between judge scores and a public vote, apart from the new Guest experience award which will be determined solely by judge scores.
