Worldwide: Property monitoring company Minut and property management software Smoobu have partnered to make short-term rental management “easier, safer and more efficient” for hosts and property managers around the world.
The new partnership is designed to save property managers time and money spent on policing and other tedious, error-prone tasks, such as manual transfer of reservation details.
The integration – which is now live – allows hosts to connect their Minut and Smoobu accounts, so that booking data syncs automatically. Minut can then contact guests on the host’s behalf when noise is detected.
In 94 per cent of cases, just one message or call is enough to get the guests to quiet down within 15 minutes. By integrating with Smoobu, Minut aims to solve most noise issues without any involvement from the host.
Minut co-founder and CEO, Nils Mattisson, said: “Being hosts themselves, Smoobu brings invaluable insights and supports our mission of making sharing work for everyone in short-term rentals. By partnering with them, we’re creating a more personal and efficient way of communication between hosts and guests, which will benefit everyone and make the industry as a whole more sustainable.”
Smoobu CEO Philipp Reuter added: “We are excited to have Minut as a partner. With this integration, Minut will help us provide even better end-to-end services to our clients, as well as creating a more efficient automation ecosystem for all hosts operating short-term rentals.”
